The Shop
FCT was started as a one man operation in Frederick MD in 1994 by Fatty. In 1995, Fatty chose to move closer in to the metro area and relocated his shop to Silver Spring, MD. FCT thrived in Silver Spring, and Fatty recruited a staff of talented tattooists and body piercers to handle the influx of new clients. After four years of success and growth in Silver Spring, Fatty chose to make another move to the heart of Washington DC.
Since 1998, FCT has distinguished itself as a leader of quality in tattooing and body piercing in Washington DC. Our award winning staff of tattoo artists and body piercers are all veterans of the industry. Each of our artists has a minimum of a decade of experience, which is seen in the care, precision and quality in each and every tattoo and body piercing that is produced at FCT. Each member of our body piercing staff has trained directly under Fakir Musafar, the godfather of modern body piercing. This is the highest credential possible in the industry. All jewelry used and sold is internally threaded and of the highest quality. Every tattoo artist at FCT is versatile in many styles and can help you to envision and design your own custom tattoo. Whether you want a full body suit or are just looking for something small or off the wall, we do it all.
